When it comes to Japanese label Nonnative, it seems like their collections increase in size each season. The newest releases from their spring/summer fashion includes the Workers Shirts QS in blue and grey. Offsetting glen and gingham checks patterns give the shirts a interesting look, along with the three quarter length sleeves making them even more unique. When it comes to design and quality, Nonnative never fails to impress us.

Spring jackets continue to make their way into stores and there is always something Nonnative has to offer. Last week the Japanese label introduced the Trooper Jacket. The lightweight jacket is equipped with a fold-away hood that can be tucked into the collar, windstopper material and comes in four different colours. It is the perfect outerwear piece for the spring. Many Japanese labels are very clever when it comes to fashion. Nonnative is one that continues to impress us with just about everything they design, like the Mountaineer Hooded Parka. The grey or navy pinstripe jacket is perfect for winters out on the ski hill. The wool lining and wind resistant shell will keep anyone protected from the blistering cold.

There was a time when hooded jumpers were mainly associated with sport or street wear. I’m happy to see that over the past few years they have grown up with a more refined and matured style. The ‘Dweller zipup parka/cotton marble sweat‘ is probably one of my favorites this year and is already considered timeless piece in my closet. Designed by Japanese label nonnative, the casual jumper (which also comes in black) is perfect to wear with dark jeans and white tennis trainers. I’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on nonnative collections into 2010.
