As cars and trucks flood city streets each day Biomega continues to endorse a lifestyle on two wheels powered only by humans. The Danish company from Copenhagen has always been at the forefront of urban bicycle design and modernization. They recently released a new advert to share with us and showcase two of their bicycles, the ‘Amsterdam’ and the Puma ‘Pico’. (Read about the Biomega x Puma collaboration here) The advert takes us through a day in the life of two girls who choose to go about their daily routine on bicycle to different destinations while also acknowledging a happier lifestyle. It is a captivating ad to say the least.
The release for the highly anticipated iPad is less than a month away (April 3rd) and the first commercial has launched to introduce the tablet PC. It could be classified as an oversized iPhone, but this device will surely change the way we use computers and technology. It will also be the white knight to a distressed publishing industry, transforming the way we all read books and newspapers. Other than that I’ll have to say the iPad is the coolest looking touch-screen computer anyone can own.
TED 2010 is happening now! Feb. 9th-13th, Long Beach, California. TED brings together the world’s most fascinating speakers to share with us their great ideas, inspirations and opinions. If you can’t make it to the TED conference (like me), don’t worry because all of the talks are eventually posted on the TED website for everyone to view. I am most excited to hear from Jamie Oliver, Marian Bantjes, Dan Barber, Stewart Brand, David Byrne, James Cameron, David Rockwell, Christopher “moot” Poole, Jane McGonigal, Sarah Silverman. Plus there are always a few others that will also stimulate and capture my attention.
