Keeping up with Stonesthrow, Mayer Hawthrone’s new video ‘I Wish it Would Rain’ was recently released.  If you haven’t heard the album ‘A Strange Arrangement’, Hawthorne is a musical genius injecting soul and jazz influences into his own works and bringing back classic sounds of Motown.  Not only does the young man from Ann Arbor, Michigan produce all his songs, but he also sings and plays many of the instruments on each of the tracks.  I think that it’s amazing to see and hear what this man is capable of.  Watch his new video ‘I Wish it would Rain’.
