Phoenix – Live in Sydney

phoenix_band

French indie band and Grammy award winners ’Phoenix‘ have caused an uprising since their latest album ‘Wolfgang Amadeus’ was released almost a year ago.  The alternative rockers have been on a non-stop tour since then and just to show how much they appreciate their fans they have recently released a free live recording from their gig in Sydney.  The ‘Live in Sydney’ compilation contains eight tracks including favorites ‘Lisztomania’ and ‘1901′.  You can download the live recording here.  Tracklisting after the jump…  Thanks Phoenix!

Rogues Gallery Candem Duffle

roguesgallery_camden_duffle

Last year I started using a very old duffle bag I found stashed away in the basement.  Unfortunately it was so worn out that it only last seven months but it had a good run and made me realize how much I loved using a duffle bag.   So I have been on the lookout for a new duffle bag and Maine based fashion label Rogues Gallery has designed a couple really nice nautical styles for this spring.  The bag is made from rugged nautical grade canvas with cotton webbing handles and brass links and clips.  This durable classic duffle bag is exactly what I am looking for.  Smaller versions of the bag can also be found here

Red Wing Wabasha Leather & Canvas Mid Boot

redwing_wabasha_canvas_copper

The beautifully crafted Red Wing Leather and Canvas boots have been making headlines the past couple of weeks.  These copper brown mid cut boots are made with wabasha leather and a quarter olive canvas panels.  Added to the classic aesthetics are raw hide laces, brass eyelets and Virbram rubber sole meant to last a lifetime.  The boots also come in a dark brown but instead of five eyelets as shown above they are extended a bit higher with seven eyelets.  The Red Wing boots are starting to sell out already as people are finding them to be a perfect boot for the spring.

Cipher Alpha

Look out Common Projects, there is a new clean cut trainer in town.  Hong Kong based label Cipher, is the company making an impressive impact with their Alpha trainer.  There are not many low cut ivory grain leather trainers made like this one.  The sleek clean lines make these the most aesthetically pleasing to appreciate with our eyes.   In addition, they come in three different colourways, grey calf suede, black perforated, and of course white ivory grain leather.  Check out the other colours after the jump.  We’ll take two pairs for each of us please!

Nonnative Workers Shirts QS

nonnative_workers_shirts_qs

When it comes to Japanese label Nonnative, it seems like their collections increase in size each season.  The newest releases from their spring/summer fashion includes the Workers Shirts QS in blue and grey.  Offsetting glen and gingham checks patterns give the shirts a interesting look, along with the three quarter length sleeves making them even more unique.  When it comes to design and quality, Nonnative never fails to impress us.
