The wait is almost over as the much anticipated DVD ’Under the Great White Northern Lights‘ will be released in a couple weeks. Directed by Emmett Malloy, the White Stripe’s share with fans their 2007 tour around Canada where they played in every province including some of the most obscure locations. Under the Great White Northern Lights has been making its way around the film festival circuit and will be on sale for fans March 16th, 2010. In the meantime, here is an exclusive video clip of Jack White just about to perform an impromptu gig in a bowling alley of all places.
Daiki Suzuki is a mastermind when it comes to producing some of the best menswear in the industry. It’s fascinating to see Woolrich Woolen Mills collections as every piece is just as impressive as the next and extremely tempting.
One of my favorites in the new spring/summer 2010 collection is the Carlsbad Windsor Poplin. The jacket is contrasted with blue shoulder yolk cut on the top and beige cotton poplin below the chest. Detailing includes two large front press-stud pockets, one inside zip pocket, adjustable cuffs and a drawstring hood with really nice leather toggles to enhance visual appeal.

Stussy in collaboration with Stonesthrow and the Dilla Estate release the second of a three part commemorative J Dilla series is now available for viewing online (view part 1). The newest video documents J Dilla’s life from Detroit to Los Angeles. Look out for the final installment to be released at some point next week. At first glance everything about this makes you think it looks really nice parka (0r I could be the only one). It’s actually a hooded pullover shirt designed by Japanese label, White Mountaineering. Much of their brand focuses on design, utility, and technology to create outdoor clothing collections from top to bottom layers. I think it is a clever and unique looking hooded pullover perfect for the spring or fall. Even though it may look like a parka we can promise it’s made with a lightweight cotton fabric.
