Puma X KiBiSi Bike Series

puma_kibisi_bikes

One of the best collaborations this year brought together Puma and Biomega (of KiBiSi) to design a cool new series of bikes.  In previous efforts the two have worked on the Puma 8 speed Urban Mobility which was a semi- folding bike that integrated a wire lock system.  Clever right? Well this time around the new colorful series merges the handle bars and basket into one.  These bikes are aesthetically perfect for the urban city dweller and absolutely ingenious!

Nonnative Marble Sweat

nonnative_dwellerhood

There was a time when hooded jumpers were mainly associated with sport or street wear.  I’m happy to see that over the past few years they have grown up with a more refined and matured style.  The ‘Dweller zipup parka/cotton marble sweat‘ is probably one of my favorites this year and is already considered timeless piece in my closet.  Designed by Japanese label nonnative, the casual jumper (which also comes in black) is perfect to wear with dark jeans and white tennis trainers.  I’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on nonnative collections into 2010.

Hathead

pendleton_ryanhat

We all want to keep our heads warm during the cold winter months.  The Pendleton Ryan hat is perfect for those worried about getting hat head or unable to find a good looking beanie or toque.  Ok, it may not keep your hair perfect but the hat is lined with ultra soft pure virgin wool/polyester Berber fleece to keep your head snug.  The cool ear flaps also have the option of being put up for ventilation or down for warmth.

Supreme Tartan

Supreme knows what I’m talking about when it comes to comfortable clothing that can be worn any day of the week.  The streetwear giant is best at incorporating clean cut classic styles into each of their collections.  The long sleeve button down collar is nothing new to Supreme lines and this season they have included the ‘Mini Tartan Shirt’.  It’s a simple shirt that will never go out of style.

RL Fair Isle Socks

Shopping for friends and family always ends up with me purchasing more for myself.  I think it’s a habit none of us can avoid because we always find things we want when we’re not looking for them.  This year Fair Isle knit patterns make their way back into many winter collections.  The designs have been around forever and whenever I see it on sweaters, socks, scarves or hats it always triggers a nice feeling of winter warmth.  I really like these Ralph Lauren Fair Isle Birdseye socks with with a wool blend to keep your feet toasty.  They are a perfect start for getting into the holiday spirit.
